Forest Cabin

Nestled in the tranquil native bush of Raglan, our tree house offers a serene retreat for two. The cabin is designed for you to enjoy a full undistributed view of the forest from your bed, providing a peaceful escape surrounded by nature.

This cozy, self-contained cabin features a queen-sized bed, a fully equipped kitchenette with cooktop and fridge/freezer, and a private deck overlooking native bush. Enjoy the warmth of a heater and dehumidifier during cooler months and the coolness of the forest in summer.

Shared spaces on the property for guests include the toilet block, shower, sun deck and lawn area.

The land

Fall asleep to the sound of waves and wake to morning bird song. Sip your morning coffee on the sun deck, enjoy a picnic on the lawn, and unwind in the beautiful outdoor hot water shower.

Tucked away in Whale Bay above the Indicators surf break, this magical spot is just far enough from Raglan to feel immersed in nature — yet only a 12-minute drive to town.

The north-facing land offers sweeping views of the Tasman Sea and coastline stretching toward Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland. On clear nights, the Milky Way glows overhead while ruru calls echo through the trees.
